Quilt of Valor
A Quilt of Valor® (QOV) is a handmade tribute of gratitude and comfort, carefully crafted with love and appreciation. Whether machine or hand-quilted, each quilt is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been impacted by war. More than just a blanket, a QOV is a heartfelt ‘thank you’—a tangible symbol of honor and appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our nation.
The Log Book
Background: The Log Book Project started when Nick Devaux found his dad’s WWII Navy log book. This book is what he used to log his missions when he flew. Nick wondered what it would be like to send the book to WWII veterans to get the signature along with a brief story about their time in the military. The book has approximately 250 signatures and has been around the world 10 times.
